Our Story
2020 was an isolating chapter for so many, where our normal ways of connecting suddenly stopped. It was impossible to ignore how much our mindset and relationships can affect our wellbeing, and it quickly became clear that meaningful, in-person connections are essential.
But connection doesn’t always come easily in adulthood. Between outgrowing old ways of being, relocating, changing careers, or simply trying to find “our people,” many of us are searching for welcoming spaces to be ourselves, meet new people, and feel like we belong.
And that's how Coastal Alchemy began: one connection at a time.
We started small in 2023 hosting mindful reset workshops, women's circles, and casual gatherings where people could show up authentically to connect. Over the last 2 years, we expanded our gatherings into co-working sessions, book clubs, coffee crawls, our first retreat in Joshua Tree, CA and so much more. Folks keep coming back because they feel seen, reenergized and a part of something meaningful.
That energy and intention carries into everything we do whether it's a local community gathering, workplace wellness experience, or providing support for purpose-driven founders and small business owners. Our mission is to create mindful gatherings where people feel less alone and more connected to themselves, each other, and the world around them.
Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Lindsay! Founder and facilitator of Coastal Alchemy.
I create and host intentional gatherings that help people connect at work and in the community.
Before starting Coastal Alchemy, I spent 12+ years in the media industry, leading cross-functional teams, building strategic brand campaigns for Fortune 500 companies, and coordinating large-scale event activations. While staying active was a large part of my wellness routine, I often struggled to slow down and prioritize my well-being, and burnout slowly crept in.
In 2020, that all changed when I was forced to stay in and become more mindful of my choices and relationships. It eventually led me to step away from my corporate career and embark on a new path. In 2023, I completed my yoga teacher training and became a Reiki practitioner, which helped me bring a more grounding, mindful approach to life and facilitation.
After years of moving around the country, those experiences brought me back to my hometown in Wilmington, DE to foster a more intentional, inclusive community that is now Coastal Alchemy.
Today, I mix strategy and presence to help organizations reduce burnout, reconnect with purpose, and strengthen culture, and host community gatherings that make new, meaningful connections possible outside of the workplace.
You can usually find me tucked into a cozy coffee shop, taking a long walk, or in a conversation that goes a little deeper than expected.
