Whether you’ve been on the go all summer or simply need a moment to breathe, join us for a cozy evening at Scout Café to reconnect through mindfulness, reflection, and meaningful conversation.
This intentional gathering includes:
Just bring your favorite notepad or journal and an open heart. Whether you’re new to mindfulness or deep in your practice, we'd love to have you join us. This workshop is open to adults 18+.
Start your Sunday in nature with a stroll through the scenic trails of Rockwood Park.
We'll meet near the first large double parking lot by the Rockwood Museum at 9:00 AM, and the walk will begin promptly at 9:15 AM.
Expect a ~3 mile walk and connecting with likeminded folks. The trail is a mix of paved paths, hills, and shaded woodland trails. The terrain is generally easy to moderate but can include uneven or muddy spots, so sturdy shoes are recommended.
Admission to the park and the event is free but registration lets us know you're coming.
All are welcome! Anyone under 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult.
Start your Sunday with intention and connection. Join us for a grounding walk through the scenic trails of Alapocas Run State Park. This Walk & Talk is all about fresh air, light conversation, and meaningful community. No pressure, no expectations - just good vibes.
We'll meet at Blue Ball Barn at 9:00 AM, and the walk will begin promptly at 9:15 AM (so come hydrated and caffeinated!)
Expect a ~3 mile loop with mostly paved paths, a few hills, and some woodland trails. Terrain includes rocks and occasional mud, so please wear comfortable, sturdy shoes.
This event is free to attend, but if you’d like to support our community efforts, you can opt for a Community Support Ticket. As a thank-you, you’ll receive a beautifully designed affirmation postcard (a $5 value), created in collaboration with local artist @MKdoesDesign. RSVP encouraged. We can’t wait to walk and connect with you!
Entrance Fees:
– DE registered vehicle: $4/day
– Non-DE registered vehicle: $8/day
– Walking/biking in: Free
This free gathering is perfect for remote workers, small business owners, side hustlers, creatives or those looking for a welcoming space to connect and get things done. Whether you’re brainstorming your next big idea or simply need a change of scenery, join us at Scout Café for a morning of productivity and connection! Register for free here to let us know if you’re planning to join, as seats are limited! Send us a message if you have any trouble finding us.
If it's nice out, we'll be in the Back Garden!
Let’s turn compassion into action.
Join us for a morning of meaningful service from 9am-12pm as we support Friendship House Clothing Bank. The Clothing Bank provides free high-quality clothing to over 7,000 people throughout Delaware and offers onsite job training to over 30 women a year preparing to exit incarceration.
We’ll help the FH staff sort through clothing donations by size, season, and quality and/or assist with completing clothing orders. It’s a hands-on way to give back, connect with others, and be part of something that matters.
Whether you’ve attended a Coastal Alchemy event or are just looking to get involved—everyone is welcome.
Join us for the next chapter in our book club journey as we dive into Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert—an empowering read that invites us to embrace curiosity over fear and live a more creative, expansive life.
Whether you identify as an artist, a dreamer, a recovering perfectionist, or someone simply craving more inspiration in your day-to-day, Big Magic offers accessible wisdom and playful permission to explore your creative instincts without shame or pressure.
We’ll reflect on the book’s themes through conversation and reflective prompts. No pressure to finish the book—just come as you are and share what resonated with you.
Please bring:
– Your copy of the book (if you have it)
– A journal + pen
Add-on: You're welcome to purchase your own food or drink from the Post around 6pm to enjoy during book club.
Whether you read one chapter or the whole book, you’re welcome here. This space is about building connection through shared reflection. Expect thoughtful conversation, cozy vibes, and a space to connect deeply with yourself and others.
We will be in the private/co-op Art Studio behind the restaurant. Street parking on Delaware Ave and surrounding streets is available.
